My name is Robyn. I am the wife of John; who pastors Kingdom Connection Ministry,  Mom of 4 and 3 year old girls, homeschooler, and head of Women of Covenant and Beyond the Veil Christian Women's Ministries.  With all of that and more going on I have had to compartmentalize my life into "moments." In this way, I can savor each of these precious opportunites as the gifts from God they really are, and avoid missing out on enjoying this life.  As you have seen, this blog is about my mom "compartment."

Six years before we got pregnant with our first born, whom I'll call "the alpha," the Lord spoke to me about the two children He would give us.  He told me about their divine design; revealing their personalities, including their strengths and weaknesses.  As a former teacher and dean in an inner-city charter school, I had 9 years of exposure to public education.  I have a lot of respect for teachers and understand their plight, but for so many reasons, I did not want to leave our girls' education to strangers.  While I know it's not an option for many, my husband and I are grateful for the opportunity to homeschool our girls.  We are not wealthy and things get tight sometimes, but the rewards far outweigh the sacrifices.

While I began homeschooling two years ago, I started this blog to journal our journey as we officially begin our girls' education.
